I was a late comer to Maurice Sendak's work but I love it as much as much as the next kid.

17th and Oak: 17th and Oak is the creative work of Pete Ware. A freelance designer based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. So why am I here? Simple - I want you to be successful and I'm here to make that happen by creating design that best represents your company. With seven years experience working with a variety of different agencies, I have had the opportunity to design everything from exhibition stands to corporate branding to brochures to shop fascias. I can turn my hand to all elements of design. I also enjoy illustrating and have done from a very young age. I like to combine my illustrations with design elements to create interesting pieces of work. Any locals to the Portsmouth and Southsea area will have seen my work. Whilst employed by design agencies, I have collaborated with clients such as Fry and Kent, Abar Bistro, Camber Wines and the Royal Navy as well as international companies such as Marks and Spencer, Best Western and Bridgestone Tyres.
